Hell, season 3 of The Orville started production in 2019 and didn't release until 2022 (yes, partially due to a yearlong Covid shutdown). Season 4 is likely going to have a longer gap as well, with production starting in January and probably not airing until 2026. That's ten years to make just four seasons of a show.Eh, even at one year it's an improvement over the gaps most streaming shows have between seasons.
Yes, ten episodes is too less for me.Do you think the show could benefit from 5 more episodes a season?
Personally I think the current count hits fine, just wish there was a little more filler. I'm in love with the cast.
It would be useful if, at the very least, most of the main legacy characters never learn he's Spock's brother if they encounter him in the show. It would stretch credibility to think that neither would mention it before they launched the rescue mission on Nimbus III. They would all have seen the hostage tape, after all.So is Sybok ever showing up in this? Did ST5 conclusively say that Uhura and Scotty had never heard of or met Sybok before? Because if so they both have to be sidelined if Sybok shows up.
Not even some continuity?Continuity isn't that important.
T'Pol? *head exploding*I can picture some drama being created by T'Pol, Sybok and Spock being in the same room.
As the children of the Ambassador from Vulcan they might have interacted.T'Pol? *head exploding*
wow. I suck as a fanboy.T'Pol? *head exploding*
I could see Spock telling Christine seeing as she's not present during Star Trek V.It would be useful if, at the very least, most of the main legacy characters never learn he's Spock's brother if they encounter him in the show. It would stretch credibility to think that neither would mention it before they launched the rescue mission on Nimbus III. They would all have seen the hostage tape, after all.
Nah, there is still a story to be told there.Leave Sybok in whatever asylum/rehab facility where we saw the back of his head. He was an annoying character in a bad film. I'm good with consigning him to the canon dust heap.
If only it was an interesting one. Hopefully, if the character is used, they will keep it contained to one episode and not a season-long arc.Nah, there is still a story to be told there.
