Probably not the second one.I didn't know he was coming back. That's pretty cool. I guess maybe in Flashbacks or are they going to "Culber" Hemmer because of the backlash?
Probably a new character.

I have not been enjoying him as much on my rewatch, but I am curious to see what happens in Season 2.I wonder how that is going to work, but that's great he's coming back. He was actually a good actor for the Hemmer role and I wish they had shown more of him in Season 1. He was also kind of funny.
I'd be ok with 13 episodes. 10 just feels too short
Yes, the episode was ok, but that part was a little too silly for me.It was also one of the best episodes of the season so doesn't translate well in barely coherent whining, either.
The way in which they communicate here makes more sense than most Star Trek stories of this kind. Certainly less silly than " Darmok."What's the objection? Music as a form of communication?
Pretty sure I read a story about it.What's the objection? Music as a form of communication?
I remember that was epic, but it's been a long time since I've seen the movie. Some of cinematic sci-fi's greatest moments have come from using music to communicate with alien life forms.
Well, TNG didn't get an "original theme song" either.Personally I’m also of the opinion that the series needed m/needs an original theme song instead of using cues from TOS. Like I get why and I like it, but it irks me in that it doesn’t get it.

Since I don't like most of the other themes besides, perhaps, Voyager, I'm not bothered by Russo homaging some composers who are better than he.
