It would probably be a complete throwback to a 1940's-1960's decor on his ranch. Enough to envelop yourself in another time to be away from that century.Bets that it's not in his quarters but that we catch its close twin sitting in his living room down there on the ranch.![]()
I'm actually looking forward to it! Discovery, unfortunately, has not been able to keep things interesting within an arc lately, and I think Star Trek is more suited to shorter arcs.Is it even possible to enjoy a purely episodic show these days? Simple stories that wrap themselves up fully in 45-60 minutes... not really a concept considered "good" any more...
I like this actually better (at first glance of course as we don't have context). As this at least plays off of some of the backstory we got on Pike. Though the winter environment is something we haven't been exposed to so far.The scene kind of reminds of me Kirk on a horse in Generations.
I can't wait for the episode where they make contact with an aquatic world, and Pike rides a seahorse like Aquaman. You know they've got to!
It's a Western Electric 500, early one too, metal finger wheel, not plastic.
According to who, exactly? Is it even possible to enjoy a purely episodic show these days? Simple stories that wrap themselves up fully in 45-60 minutes... not really a concept considered "good" any more...

I don't watch them, but aren't the countless procedurals "episodic"?Now that you mention it, I cannot think of a single drama I watch anywhere using the classic one and done formula.
SNW's will be unique flower in a field of sameness.
According to TrekCore this is not the same trailer. Though it does share at least the horse scene.Wo, after all the hype caused by the takedowns weeks ago, that was... not much![]()
Sweet. I love rotary phones!
I still have one. And my kids know how to use it.
Y'know there's an app for your smartphone for that.
That shows a rotary phone? And can double as a self-defense weapon?Y'know there's an app for your smartphone for that.
