A couple rumor sites are saying Captain Pike and the Enterprise as the title and honestly...if this show is intended to be a more traditional "space adventure" type Trek show, then I don't hate them calling it that. I kind of doubt they'd try another Star Trek show without Star Trek in the title though.

I can see why CBS could go with Star Trek: Enterprise for the Pike show. I don't love it, but I can see it.

I would prefer they just called it Star Trek though. Give it the 60's font and everything. Modern audiences don't care if you bring back shows from the dead.

Well, if they're going to re-use the title of a previous series, plain old Star Trek makes more sense than Star Trek: Enterprise.

Why not just call it The Pike Show (TPS)? I mean what else would you name an anthology concept where Pike, Vina, other inmates and the Talosians present the illusion of the week? Every episode opens with the camera passing by the cages only to end up at the one Pike and Vina are in as they truly appear, and then we dissolve into a new environment. The viewer would be expected to work out who is playing who: maybe a character is a Talosian, maybe one of the caged aliens. It could even be someone we’ve never seen before, and then it turns out it’s a recent arrival. How did they arrive, do they want to stay and why? A character could be Pike himself and we wouldn’t know it.

Star Trek: The Previous Generation is an accurate title for a Pike Enterprise series

I like the "Strange New Worlds" title. But if they go with that title they better be visiting some strange new worlds and not some season arc against bad guy AIs.

Everything's rumors and speculation at this point. Nothing's been confirmed. Just that there are two additional Star Trek series in the works. One of which we think is a Pike Series. It probably will be one of them, but it also might not be.
