I think they worked well, and was a nice homage to the 60s Trek era myself.Those shoulders. Sheesh. We get it, you have a much bigger budget than NBC and Desilu had nearly sixty years ago. But come on.

There are certainly lots of possibilities but we also shouldnt forget the season 2 trailer featured plenty of Una back on the Enterprise in spite of her arrest being the big cliffhanger.
They should make a phone filter/website that lets people upload and make their own photos look like that.
