Spoilers Strange New Worlds General Discussion Thread

Well.... if they did want to film any kinda wintery weather episode, now is the time to do it. We're finally getting a decent blast of winter up here. I'm no huge fan of snow, but the sight of mud and grass is January was starting to weird me out.

I gotta admit that seeing the cast react on social media to the snow storm has been amusing.

Springtime in Andoria.

Pfft, that's the majority of winters in Nova Scotia, where we might get one or two decent snowfalls only to be cleared away within a week by rain.
Yes, I've seen a Maritime winter first hand. You can keep it. We might get more snow in Ontario, but nothing feels colder than a cold, Maritime wind. Chills you to the bone.

Mainland Nova Scotia actually isn't that cold. Though it is true I kind of prefer cold temperatures, I turn the heat off in my room when I sleep. Although I took a trip to Cape Breton in the middle of January one year. That was an experience. Even with my fondness for cold temperatures, I found things uncomfortably cold. I had to keep my jacket on indoors.

Yeah, the wind can be murder at times, but if you can get away from it, it can be quite comfortable. I find even finding something like the small shelter at a bus stop can block the wind, and I can be quite comfortable even in the middle of winter.

I totally agree. I’m from Michigan, and as long as the wind isn’t sharp, I can handle the lower temperatures
