Spoilers Strange New Worlds General Discussion Thread

I think altogether without explanation is best. Anything else would be another Worf "It is not spoken of with outsiders" thing that will only just open a new can of worms. Enterprise felt the need to elaborate upon it, which caused a bunch more head-scratching in some ways. A noble effort, but... no need to see history repeat itself.

An unspoken understanding that all variants and varieties exist in the same universe (I think) will be sufficient to make it work. The hardcore fans like us already know all the back-stories of the different species variants and the casual fans or non-fans will just shrug, realize that they're just another kind of humanoid alien and move on with the story.

The K.I.S.S. principle may easily apply here in this context.

So, if say all the Homo species existed and evolved together on the planet without interbreeding knocking most of them out of existence. Homo sapiens, habilis, erectus, rudolfensis, heidelbergensis, floresiensis, neanderthalensis, naledi, and luzonensis. Denisovans? Etc? We could have had a lots of variation and still all be human.

Yeah. I'd love to see ALL THE KLINGONS in a room together!

Crest design looks familiar.

Nice start. Question: Is the perspective distortion on that last 3/4 view at the bottom? It looks like it's in orthostatic mode, making the primary hull look tiny and the nacelles look immense. It may be an optical illusion, but it's kind of breaking my brain. :) The others look really good, though.

I really like the color pallette of this one! I prefer this greyish hue of the hull to the SNW Enterprise's.
