You mean the guy that wrote a Transformers movie isn’t a good writer?Yeah, admittedly, neither of those writers is someone whose work gives me great cause for optimism. On the other hand, the concept has tons of potential.

Not necessarily, just because Strange New Worlds will be a prequel doesn't mean that it might not be better for Discovery to not be shackled as such. Discovery never felt to me like it wanted to be a prequel, it was shackled as such but never leaned into it so it just seemed more of a burden than a strength (IMO).This kinda puts the breaks on the rumours that Discovery was sent to the future to avoid being a prequel.
Lol. I didn’t know that. Sounds like the perfect man to helm Star Trek.Hey, show some respect. He also wrote Batman & Robin.

Discovery defies categorization. That's what I like about it.Not necessarily, just because Strange New Worlds will be a prequel doesn't mean that it might not be better for Discovery to not be shackled as such. I really like the idea that season three is open for possibility. If anything, SNW (get used to it) feeding into nostalgia might free it up even more to be its own thing.Discovery defies categorization. That's what I like about it.![]()
He also won an Oscar for A Beautiful Mind![]()
I hope you were talking generally with this part. I was the one supporting Strange New Worlds as a title. If anything, SNW (get used to it)
And I'll post this. Every time.Let it SNW. Let it SNW. Let it SNW.
I cannot promise that will be the last time I make that joke.
He blew the budget on the first two episodes O_oAkiva Goldsman is such a hack. We could’ve had Bryan Fuller in charge of all this but CBS wanted a puppet instead.
I never asked for this. I just wanted a ship show set after Voyager
Good call!Mesa taken the liberty of updating the thread title.
