Even taking into account SNW S3 is probably the show's weakest season, and that I don't think Disco's as bad as others do, this statement is still so very wrong.SNW season 3 disappointed me enough that I would say its now worse than Discovery.

Yeah, I liked DISCO better than a lot of folks around here, but no way is SNW3 worse than DISCO.Yeah, at its worst SNW Season 3 was still better than most of DSC.
Well yeah I didn't expect it to be a popular take. But I also never thought SNW was that good to begin with so it was easier to lose me I guess. SNW already became fundamentally uninteresting to me when it had a season finale that was just remaking a TOS episode to reaffirm the importance of a legacy character. Even if it was mechanically well made the show lost me on the substance side fairly early and S3 was the show doubling down until it was too hard for me to get engaged in most of it. All in my opinion of course.Even taking into account SNW S3 is probably the show's weakest season, and that I don't think Disco's as bad as others do, this statement is still so very wrong.
Genuinely surprised we've gotten no Tholians yet.Regarding SNW and worldbuilding, I would like to see them address:
-The Tholians and what they are up to, if for nothing else as a nod to the Early Voyages comics.

STD isn't canon. Its not the common take here, but SNW season 3 disappointed me enough that I would say its now worse than Discovery. At the very least, if we're taking the final season of Discovery vs SNW S3, I'd watch Discovery season 6 over SNW S4 in a heartbeat.
Discovery knows what it is and I can approach it on its terms. I dont think SNW knows what it is at all and seems more interested in Trek as an out of universe brand rather than an in universe world at this point.
And the disappointment hits because i never thought it was the best thing anyways, its always been worse Lower Decks, but even then this one lost me.
I forget I cant edit yet, to be clear I am a full supporter for more episodic tv, not just in Trek.
Just like Enterprise and Star Trek: The Motion Picture — nothing anybody online says will actually knock it out of the canon, no matter how much or for how long they want it to — by all means keep doing it, Star Trek doesn’t care! — until and unless a new chapter of the franchise looks up at the camera and says “Hey, you know that show you hate? We’re decanonizing it!” Which seems unlikely to happen in the near future.STD isn't canon.
This.“Disaster” and “Threshold” and Section 31 are godawful, and I’d love for them all not to be canon. But they are, because I don’t own or make the franchise.
I'll be honest I dont really care if anyone personally thinks any show is canon or not and I dont really think "it's canon" is really a positive for another show if I dont think what it's doing is very good either. I'm not gonna go "at least it's canon" to SNW S3 despite me not enjoying it but I'm not gonna decanonize it in my mind either, Im just gonna wish they fashioned the holodeck look after the one in TAS rather than TNG and move on with my day.STD isn't canon.
Is there discourse around people wanting to decanonize ENT? I'm aware it was relatively unpopular, and I'm aware people say that it changes things as a prequel, but I havent seen people go as far as wanting it removed. This is an earnest question btw Im just curious.Just like Enterprise

Yup. It was regarded very poorly, and not a good prequel leading towards TOS. It added a unnecessary wrinkle with the Temporal Cold War, a rather ridiculous first encounter with the Klingons and felt very much like TNG style in some ways.decanonize ENT?
