Um, yeah, no. I like DSC just fine.Sure, most people don't bother with DSC, it failed. Everything since season 2 is a cover-up, true fans know that.

That's what they want you to think man!I assumed the cover-up comment was meant sarcastically, because I mean…a lot of folks clearly like the show, and we aren’t involved in any conspiracy.
But I suppose I should’ve known better.
That was 30 years ago and he wasn't the only writer of either of those episodes. I respect that he was able to get episodes pitched, but it was with help, it was in a different era, and Michael Piller had to have polished them to some degree.Serveaux is a TV writer. He wrote Tin Man and First Contact (the episode) for TNG. I disagree with many of his criticisms, but they do come from an competent, authoritative source.
And it's all opinion, too.
Can I still be Deep Throat?It's a TV show, not Watergate.![]()
All I have available is John Dean or Martha Mitchell.Can I still be Deep Throat?

I think he could also go on Alex Kurtzman's Twitter Page and give him constructive criticism about how he's being incompetent, if he really wanted to. But it would be based on a show he's not kept up with and hasn't watched in a few years. Alex Kurtzman would disregard it, but at least the criticisms Dennis has would be seen by Mr. Kurtzman or his team.
I already know all that. But Alex Kurtzman is the one still there who was in charge of what he's seen. Aaron Harberts and Gretchen Berg are gone, and so is Bryan Fuller. Unless I'm missing something, he's never seen Michelle Paradise run Discovery. Granted, I don't think that would be to his tastes either, but his opinion of the show is not based on what it currently is. And it's strange to keep commenting on a show so long after he stopped watching it and has since gone in different directions.Also, you're falling into the trap that many Discovery degraders set: Alex Kurtzman has little-to-no involvement in Star Trek Discovery's creative choices anymore. That's Michelle Paradise.
I already know all that. But Alex Kurtzman is the one still there who was in charge of what he's seen.
Either way, I've said what I wanted to say.
No worries.Didn't mean any offense, truly. Sorry.
Discovery = Michelle Paradise
Picard = Terry Matalas
Lower Decks = Mike McMahan
Prodigy = Hageman Brothers
Section 31 = Bo Yeon Kim & Erika Lippoldt
Academy = Stephanie Savage & Josh Schwartz
I do.
Just so we're clear.
You got a problem with that?
