Rude. They already coped to the error.
I demand groveling for the injustice inflicted on us by the poll!

I thought Pike asked about his family?
While this is probably arguable, I'm pretty happy to retcon this across the board. Why wouldn't they have a transporter in sickbay? Always seemed a little weird to transport the sick and wounded into a transporter room and then ferry them throughout the ship to get to sickbay. There just was not a transporter in sick bay of the Enterprise at this time
To be fair unless I'm misremembering the one time they do is the time they establish how dangerous and risky it is. But given that the transporter has sensors with enough resolution to pick out and snag each individual molecule in someone's body at a distance of hundreds of thousands of kilometers I have a very hard time buying that "transporting within the ship" is beyond their capabilities.Yes it was. It was done once in TOS.
Agreed. Maybe someone else will do the review threads down the road? He's being a contrarian. It's what he does. Plus it's a subtle way for him to see who'll fall in line behind him and do things his way. Anyone who's submissive to him and his opinions is someone he can dominate over.
He's playing a lot of you for fools. I don't buy any of his act because that's all it is. He might like SNW, to a degree, but the rest of this is all a song and dance.
"How's that brother of yours, still lookin' just like you but without a mustache?"![]()
Well, I actually do have an issue with it, because in order for the transporter to function, realistically it needs to beam the person somewhere. To a planet or ship, it makes sense because you have thingies on the hull to do that. But how does one transport to a point inside the ship? The only way I see is if there are transporter "emitters" within the ship, making the transporter room pointless. To be fair unless I'm misremembering the one time they do is the time they establish how dangerous and risky it is. This is the medical emergency transporter so it would make sense that it would have emitters in place (maybe even only in a few locations?) for fast travel to and from sick bay in an emergency.Well, I actually do have an issue with it, because in order for the transporter to function, realistically it needs to beam the person somewhere. It's not really a command. It's just someone who doesn't know better.Got a link to that command? Because its frakking stupid and now confuses me! Its like if the GOP decided to change the rules all of a sudden and make polls in their favor by reversing the score system. WARN US NEXT TIME YOU IDIOTS!!!

Yer going to have to get in line behind that other guy.I demand groveling for the injustice inflicted on us by the poll!
They admitted to making an error. It wasn't intentional. It's not really a command. It's just someone who doesn't know better.
1 out of 10 for me.This thread earns 1 out of 10 or 10 out of 1 depending on my mood.
Why are people still complaining about the fucking poll? Is it really that hard for people to wrap their minds around?
That ship sailed when ENTERPRISE showed us Transporters about 100 years before. Why are people still complaining about the fucking poll? Is it really that hard for people to wrap their minds around?
I think it is because the transporter is supposed to be a bit of newer tech in TOS, and likely a power hungry piece. Much like intraship beaming is supposed to be dangerous in TOS, yet is routine ten years prior in DSC.
