In-universe Trek travel time, which has always been inconsistent or silly or both. Pike probably had to do everything possible to pull himself together enough to ask for the shuttlecraft to take him to the Enterprise. There could have been a full day or longer between April's request and Pike's departure.

April says they are scheduled to depart at 1800, I would take that to be the same day, and Vulcan is four days away…

Scotty says they can have Spock back on Vulcan in four days in TMP, I would imagine that iteration of the ship is faster than the one we see in SNW.

Vulcan hasn't been four days away in...years. I don't think there's much chance that this series will undo the various adjustments that have been made to Trek technology as the decades have passed. If they can do it in the 24/25th century or in Star Trek 2009, they'll probably do it on SNW. Though I do hope they stay away from transwarp and interstellar beaming.

All we know from canon is that Vulcan is about 17 light-years from Earth. How fast it takes to get from there to this planet and vice versa depends on the needs of the story so analysis will inevitably lead to slamming one's head into a flat surface in frustration. "Broken Bow(ENT)" and Trek 2009 kinda peed in the pool of that whole thing.

It's really silly I wrote a glowing review of the episode and all you focus on is my dislike for mustaches and the people who defend them.

Why is no one else irritated by the sudden scoring system change? Honestly, I'm surprised by the passive reaction to all this. How does this not bother you at all? And why don't we deserve an explanation for the change? We all know that 10/10 means excellent, so why is it NOW 1/10 and so accepted quickly? Why wasn't it even announced or discussed to begin with? That pissed me off because to me a 10 means excellent, and even though I didn't score it a 10, I did score it high through the old scoring system, only to be told it meant I was voting it as being bad. That's some bullshit!

They did it just to fuck with you.

If Spock can get from Vulcan to Earth in a few hours, it is likely one or the other is involved.

Like I said earlier, the episode generally works, though there are nitpicks.
