What is weird is TNG got a Emmy nomination for it's final season. Which wasn't deserved because season 7 was one of the shows worst seasons. I do think Trek might not ever get nominated like that again but I do think Trek has a "Andor" in it. With the right person making the show of course.

And sorry nothing has topped the original 1977 version of STAR WARS either.

Finding out the Empire was ruled by the Wicked Witch of the West's brother was a letdown - and as we saw in RotJ, Boba Fett was overrated.

The modern shows have actually all been nominated for Emmys, even the Short Treks and even Section 31. Hell, Prodigy actually won an Emmy.

I actually thought Picard was going to be Trek's first serious adult drama when it was first announced. Sure Picard season 3 now has billions upon billions of fans but even none of them/us would consider season 3 a serious adult drama.

Award nominations has nothing to do with ratings.

High ratings dont cause awards, it just makes the show more likely to last long enough to be nominated foran award.
