I have it on good authority, verified by top men, that utopia is not boring and they Star Trek should be utopian always.Like if Discovery had arrived in some perfect future where the galaxy was all united and happy happy then that would be boring.

Sorry but the whole "time travel outlawed" thing has to go.As the last act of the Temporal Wars before the peace treaty was signed and time travel outlawed, maybe some pissed-off faction triggered the collapse of warp drive as revenge and it's taken a century to claw back up to faster-than-light. Omega would probably destroy the entire galaxy or make it uninhabitable at the bare minimum.
Then don't have it be a perfect future with the galaxy united and happy.Like if Discovery had arrived in some perfect future where the galaxy was all united and happy happy then that would be boring.
I can get behind that, despite my hatred of the Temporal Cold War from ENT. Makes better sense than Su'Kal.As the last act of the Temporal Wars before the peace treaty was signed and time travel outlawed, maybe some pissed-off faction triggered the collapse of warp drive as revenge and it's taken a century to claw back up to faster-than-light. On that, I wholeheartedly agree.Time travel needs to burn in hell.
No one wants a boring topTop. Men.
Boring. Top. Men.
Time travel needs to burn in hell.
I'll give up the Mirror Universe for this to happen. Gladly.Time travel.
Mirror universe.
The Borg.
All things Star Trek can completely ignore and I’d be happier for.
Time Travel is an intrinsic part of the Star Trek universe.Time travel needs to burn in hell.
Eh, I'd say the TCW wasn't really too bad until it got to season 3 of ENT..I can get behind that, despite my hatred of the Temporal Cold War from ENT. Makes better sense than Su'Kal.
My sweet summer child. The idea of outlawing Time Travel is an impossible paradox because you need Time Travel to police the use of Time Travel.
Totally agreed about all three.Time travel.
Mirror universe.
The Borg.
All things Star Trek can completely ignore and I’d be happier for.
Burn it down.Time Travel is an intrinsic part of the Star Trek universe
Bad writing would be spending time on every failure.> Hundreds of warp-capable species in the galaxy
> All crippled by The Burn.
> No one, not a single species at all, thought of any other means of propulsion beyond Warp
Excellent writing!
I have to disagree about the TCW.Time Travel is an intrinsic part of the Star Trek universe.
Eh, I'd say the TCW wasn't really too bad until it got to season 3 of ENT..
Which is funny because we know for a fact some of those species did.> Hundreds of warp-capable species in the galaxy
> All crippled by The Burn.
> No one, not a single species at all, thought of any other means of propulsion beyond Warp
Excellent writing!
I'd point out here that even Discovery went back on the ban in the end.My sweet summer child.
