^ Me three.
Ideally the show would end with Ahsoka becoming one of the Younglings' teachers at the temple. But I doubt Lucas would permit something that dark and have Anakin murder his own Padawan.I'd like to think that Ahsoka survives. Ahsoka's death doesn't work for me because Anakin is not portrayed as someone mourning a very recent death. I would think that Ahsoka would have driven him over the edge, especially coming after his mother's death.
I'm almost to the dreaded S3 episodes! Fortunately I've been following along here so I'm braced for them to be garbage.
Ahsoka might fall to the dark side or be killed at the end of the series, but I'm rooting for Door Number Three: Anakin deliberately protects her from Order 33 because as inhuman as he's become, he still cannot just throw her to the wolves. Score one for attachment!
We might get some pussyfooting around with Ahsoka and the dark side before the end. Seeing the process of a Jedi falling before Anakin does would be enlightening and a good setup for what happens with Anakin - it would be good to really see what's at stake and not just imagine it.
If Ahsoka is a dark side Padawan (assuming such a thing exists) by the end of the series, that might also explain her survival. And if she does survive, that would make a great segue into the ROTS-ANH interstitial series that was supposed to be live action but won't be now.
I see no reason why the animated series should stop with ROTS. Let's carry it beyond, with Ahsoka as the main character, either one of the few surviving Jedi on the run, or even more interestingly, if she manages to get out of the clutches of the dark side.
^ So is Ventress, if it comes to that. Did you see the deleted scene in which she kisses a clone trooper that she'd just run through with her lightsaber? Not sure how Freud would read that, but I imagine an evening with her would be anything but dull.![]()
That girl is a fah-REEK.Is it just me, or is there something going on between her and Obi-Wan, at least on a subliminal level?
Yes, agreed and I don't see Lucas murdering a character geared to the younger part of the audience. If Lucas couldn't bring himself to kill off Jar Jar, he isn't going to kill her either.Ideally the show would end with Ahsoka becoming one of the Younglings' teachers at the temple. He didn't kill him easily, he hesitates and says " I shouldn't because it's not the Jedi way." That's not the mindset of someone looking for revenge.Ahsoka should have her head lopped off by Dooku at the end of the series, it would justify Anakins willingness to kill dooku so easy.

Seems more like you just want a reason to kill Ahsoka.
I can't see Anakin sparing Ashoka from Order 66. I mean even if he tried, which I could see him actually doing, Ashoka would provoke him into a fight IMO. Or she would eventually meet him in battle. Having her be MIA by the end of the series is a viable option that keeps her in the game for an eventual show down on down the road.
I'm sure there's no intentional sexual subtext - even if Clone Wars weren't meant for kids (not exclusively, but it has to appeal to them and be sanitized enough that the parents won't start a boycott), it still has to follow the Star Wars tone of No Sex Please, We're Jedi. Not sure about the sexual subtext in the Clone Wars series, because I haven't watched all the Ventress episodes.
so how does everyone expect the clone wars to end for the annoying mary jane character?
but dooku having Killed Ahsoka even if Indircetly through seperatist army would be a easy way to retcon Mary sue's death into contuinity and not affect ROTS.
Seems more like you just want a reason to kill Ahsoka.
She's a mary Sue, made for the Tween and younger crowd to go watch the movie where they have to save slimer... err baby Jabba from evil or something, I never did understand why they used that particular storyline for the theatrical release, seems like the show has been better than the movie.
Ahsoka is much more useful in that regard than the characters I thought should have that role, namely Obi-Wan and Padme. Padme in particular is getting one-note and boring, a tedious bleeding heart liberal. Maybe Anakin's "radical right wing" viewpoint is nothing more than a reaction to having to listen to little miss Nancy Pelosi at home?when she is on screen, her character not only develops (both skills and flaws), but serves to illuminate Anakin Skywalker's character.
I thought a Mary Sue was a character that maybe the author aspires to be, but that other people find annoying.I thought a Mary Sue is someone you aspire to be?![]()
