I don't know. I liked the whole dynamic between Jurati and the Borg Queen. (Jurati was probably my favorite of PICARD'S original characters since she was such a hot mess and oh so relatable.)

Plus, the callbacks to Gary Seven made my nerdy heart sing.
Well the Aliens with the 'Hidden World' (per TOS S2 Assignment Earth) turning out to be Traveler Wesley Crusher and a motley band of Temu Timelords rubbed me the wrong way. There's also the fact that Gary 7's Teleporter was still run by devices on both ends in TOS (the Vault in his Office; and the Hanger at Cape Canaveral); yet in PICARD S2 foggy purple portals popped in and out of thin air as needed.

What can I say? It was the first time Gary Seven and Co. had been referenced onscreen since I was eight.

I had been waiting 54 years for Trek to remember that episode, so I wasn't inclined to nitpick.

Sorry, can't be bothered searching through 51 pages on this thread but did all (!?) the Scottish posters here get the "Eleven!!" reference when Scotty got stuck in the elevator. It's genuinely one of the most iconic Scottish comedy sketches ever. For those (I'm guessing that's most of you) who have never seen it, here's a link to the original. Well done SNW I can almost now forgive you for the puppet episode.

0This was TNG-Disaster x1000. A lot more gory and a lot more intense as well.

2 episodes in a row where someone was basically chopped in half and survived.

In reality, it's Christine who was the miracle worker, but Scotty is moving in that direction. They're really setting him up now.

Like Pike from TOS, we didn't get much on Boyce before this, but he's an a-hole.

I'm kinda pissed that with these 10 episode seasons, that they aren't 6 month periods and we should be getting 10 seasons to take us to the TOS era.
