Exactly this. I don't want to think of Una, Ortegas or La'An as disposable, yet I wonder if they will die in season 4 or in the series finale as plot devices.

This right here. If I'm invested in the characters and the story then if the danger feels real to them it's real to me. I don't expect any main character to die, nor do I want to, but their peril becomes the driving force because they sell it.

I don't care one wit about knowing their fate. That's not the point of the story to me.

And I certainly don't want random people to die because...JEAPORDY!

The creature looked a bit like the Ethereans from STVEF, who were inspired by the nucleogenic shriek spirits from Equinox

OMG Yes!!!!!!!!! I was trying to figure out why they looked familiar yet different. This is it they looked like those guys.

Have they any idea the shitstorm they caused for the next several decades putting something like that on screen? Hell, even I'm like "that's too big.."

Only complete nerds would get mad at stuff like this and obsessive about such details.

I finally had time to watch the deleted material. There's quite a bit that I'd have left in. It's not like the episode ran long.
