Nitpick: I wish Alternate Timeline Kirk's ship didn't so closely resemble the Prime Timeline Enterprise, that the United Earth Fleet uniform didn't so closely resemble the Federation Starfleet uniform, and that the ship Alternate Timeline Kirk was born on hadn't been called "USS," because it all contributes to the impression that the Federation is just controlled by Earth instead of being a union of equals.

The problem I have with all that is, if alternate Earth is such a crapsack world, how did they have the resources to build ships like this?

And it's still bugging me why the uptime DTI (side note: This is the 29th century, shouldn't that be the Temporal Integrity Commission?) didn't actually wipe La'an's mind...

Well, we didn't see very much of the full capabilities of alternate UESPA Enterprise. Maybe it was slower, with worse weapons and shields. Just happened to look similar internally and externally because time is sticky.

Then again, necessity is the mother of invention. If humans in this alternate timeline had been forced to overcome difficult conditions on Earth, and have also been at war with the Romulans for a long period, they could even be ahead.

Hell, UESPA in the original timeline launched the S.S. Valiant and Conestoga deep space missions along with the Friendship One warp probe and all within a handful of years after First Contact when Earth was still ravaged by World War III and lots of cities were still nuclear rubble. So if the "real" Earth could probe out into the stars just a decade to fifteen years after the worst war in human history and our society all but collapsing then, yeah, I can buy an alternate Earth doing the same but 200 years later when there'd be greater technology.

Only Guinan had any memory of the alternate timeline events in "Yesterday's Enterprise(TNG)." Trek's been doing this for decades.

Guinan didn't remember the events from the "real" timeline she just had a feeling things were off and not how they were supposed to be. Presumably the same can be said for when the timeline was restored. She just had a feeling of the events from the other timeline.

Well nobody ever tries to erase the Federation by wiping out Tellar Prime.
Maybe they do, but it's always a Tellarite officer who gets roped into preventing it.

"Well, looks the Romulans are at it again. This time they're going to send a hologram to 1973 to impersonate the leader of South Tellar and be nice to the leader of North Tellar, sparking 150 years of war."

"Dammit. All right, find the nearest starship with a Tellarite officer and beam yourself into the poor bastard's quarters..."

Presumably by abandoning Earth and aggressively mining the rest of the Sol system and colonizing as many other worlds as they could.

There's nothing to indicate what year the uptime DTI came from. Personally, I would assume that the very fact they were called the DTI rather than the Temporal Integrity Commission and didn't wipe anyone's memory would indicate they're from downtime of the 29th Century.

Well nobody ever tries to erase the Federation by wiping out Tellar Prime.

Why not? There's no Federation without Tellar! I'd love to see a story with that premise. :)

Now, if you went back to 2161 or even earlier and wiped out Tellar Prime? THAT could be devastating! We needed their forces along with the Vulcans and Andorians to help us defeat the Romulans in 2160. Without one of those factors in play the Earth-Romulan War could have gone differently.

That X-Files type guy who arrested Guinan and Picard in Picard Season 2 recounts a flashback where a Vulcan used a transporter near him when he was a kid, which was dated circa mid 20th century.
Gary-7 also had something similar in 1967.
