Spiritual beliefs in Star Trek run into reality problems.

By which I mean they've proven that certain spiritual beliefs have substance to them that causes measurable effects while other spiritual beliefs do not.

Also that the one true god at the end of everything is a Koala.
It's s woman in a hijab, not an deep dive into spiritual beliefs. We saw hijabs on Lower Decks too.

Lura Thok's blood looked white. In DS9 Jem'Hadar blood was amber in color, but we can probably chalk the changes up to her being half-Klingon.
I wondered about the same thing but also figured that it was due to whatever was done to the Jem'Hadar to make them able to breed. I wouldn't be remotely surprised if the thinking was "now that they don't need The White, their blood is white."

It's possible, though the script comes right out and says Betazoids are empaths, but not telepaths. And Tarima's dialogue talks about empathic skill only among her race.

I really think they just retconned the race, but maybe there's some Burn-related technobabble for why they lost their abilities.

Seems like, based upon the little bit from the trailers, Tarima is going to have some weird superhero-like ability ultimately.
Maybe after 900+ years of being around humans they are mostly all part-human now.

Why does that matter? We saw references to multiple Earth and alien beliefs, even with Vulcans. Cultures persist.

Also this.

i swear they could have set this show immediately in the aftermath of Picard, with Patrick Stewart cameos and all; and the haters still would have hated it. Nothing will ever make them happy

Then why waste time and energy talking about them? Just erase them from your list of concerns. :)
