I know it's a natural reaction to duck, but when one stands back up and after the sigh of relief, one must also realize how dumb it was to duck in the first place.
Don't be ridiculous...

Since the Dauntless crew wears the same ones, they apparently replaced the FC ones, only to be replaced by the PIC flashback ones soon :D
I gave up trying to make sense of the back-and-forward commbadge mess though :D

The producers gave an interview and said that just like we saw 3 different uniforms being used concurrently in different parts of the Federation in Berman Trek, the Dauntless uniform and the PIC flashback uniforms will be seen co-existing as we get close to 2385.

Anyone else think it would've been neat to see the modified Galaxy-class from the future part of TNG's "All Good Things...." amongst the Starfleet armada in this episode? Hey, the future combadge from "All Good Things...." is used by Starfleet in this show so in my own head-canon all Galaxy-class ships still in service in this era were refitted to look like the one we saw in the future part of "All Good Things...." even if that isn't in the actual canon lol.

Yeah multiple Sovereign Classes say NCC-1701-E on the nacelles

I wonder if Worf was in command of the Defiant in this episode. I know he left DS9 to serve on the Enterprise-E in Nemesis but who knows, maybe he went back to DS9 sometime after Nemesis.
All the Defiants in the episode are labelled Defiant, so who knows if they actually intended it to be the actual Defiant.

So will they time travel and prevent it all from happening or will they stick with it and move on. This might explain better Starfleet's actions with the Romulans in Picard too if they stick with it.

Its been 5 years since VOY returned home, and about 6 and a half years when VOY transported those refugees to safety.

So, depending on her age, she and other refugees would have had to find a way to the AQ pretty soon (around the same time VOY returned) to complete SF Academy , be posted on the Dauntless and acquire a rank of ensign (but she could have been posted to another ship while still as a cadet and got a field promotion).

There should be enough time for her to mature (although in fairness, those kids did seem fairly young)... and I suspect that much like the Kazon, the refugees found a TW conduit which brought them to the AQ... or subspace corridors?
Once you graduate the academy you're an ensign. A cadet posted on a ship is called a midshipman. It's part of the officer training to go on a midshipman cruise. It's possible that our new friend matures as quickly as Klingons do. In which case it's not out of the question for her to have gone to the academy. Or more likely it was just a Brenari that we didn't see.

the title Supernova still alludes me. im hoping the romulan supernova is alluded to in Part 2.
It's probably referring to the massive event that happened in this episode. Or maybe next episode.

I doubt the title refers to a literal supernova, and the Romulan Supernova seems like an awfully dark subject to touch in this series.

Definitely a 9 from me, possibly a 10 depending on the conclusion, which I hope won't be like Cold Front of Enterprise lore...The animation and scoring continue to be simply beautiful, and the evasive maneuver sequence nicely choreographed. All the drama interspersed with a "she loves me" faux pas was fun to watch, and they actually did get closer later during the woke messaging delivered by the Deviner's progeny. That Vindicator is quite the badass, and like any effective villain, you can understand her motives if not condone her actions. Guess Noble is gone, but his character redeemed, and insta-cremated upon expiration, which was also neat. Love this crew and the teamwork they displayed... bravo! As an aside, doesn't that Andorian second in command come across a lot like a certain Vulcan? Also, the Devur callback was nifty.

I hope not. I hate the reset button trope.

After that massacre, they probably have to pull a time travel reset. Chuckles is still in the future too, so he needs to come back. And honestly, for a Voyager sequel, what could be more true to the spirit of the original than pounding the reset button?

Of course, that also suggests that several Prodigy crew members will either cease to exist or be drastically changed if they are successful.

I was surprised they actually let the weapon be activated - it was a good episode, but the minutes after the construct started doing its thing were horror like, really. Especially once they revealed other Starships were still warping in (though they should easily be able to stop that with VA Janeway and the Protostar being able to transmit messages). I like fleet action in Star Trek as much as anyone, but I did not want it in this episode.

Yeah, it was a perfect fake-out because it was so plausible. The viewer thinks, "OK, that's half of the problem solved - they've thwarted the construct, they've saved Starfleet, and part two is going to be about resolving the Solum situation and rescuing Chakotay." NOPE! They give you just a heartbeat of hope, then snatch it away again. Loved it.

The episode leaked on Paramount+ in Brazil and ...

they want to destroy Protostar but that would cause an extrago in a radius of more than 80 million kilometers and that not even the murf would survive this explosion. So they find another solution
the solution found is to detonate the ship while performing the jump, this would spread the energy of the explosion throughout space and time causing minimal damage

Perhaps causing the temporal anomaly that Chuckles got sucked into...
