Ken Lesco passed away October, 2018. He acted in both ST:TNG and DSN as various characters but I knew him as a Klingon warrior in DSN's episode 'The Way of the Warrior'.

Stephen Markle passed away Nov. 6th, 2018 due to Parkinsons disease, age of 73. He played Kova Tholl in the TNG episode 'Allegiance'

Billy Bastiani passed away Sept. 14, 2018, age of 65. He played Omag in ST:TNG's episode 'Unification pt.2'

Memory Alpha reports that Stephen Mines passed away May 2, 2019, age of 80. He played Robert Tomlinson in the original series episode 'Balance of Terror'.

Bob Harks passed away Dec. 8th, 2010. He played the part of a priest on TNG in the episode 'Time's Arrow' and two parts in Voyager. He was 83.

Today is the 20th anniversary of DeForrest Kelley's death.

I can't decide if that makes me feel sad or old.

As you know, I research actors from Trek, which I’ve been doing this month. Almost finished with
ST:TNG and for the first time in all my years of research, I ran across a fake actor listing.
The ‘name’ was ‘rae sunshine lee’ and it’s said she’s been in three Trek series and about
100 other movies and shows and was also a producer, director, writer, etc…etc…etc… on many other shows
and films.
Characters listed such as ‘Ensign Sheldon’ on ‘Enterprise’ in the episode ’These are the Voyages’,
Lt. T’pow in Voyager in one episode or just T’pow in Deep Space Nine in two episodes, etc….
On no other Trek website that tracks actors does this person show up, either as the person or
the character. There has never been a character with those names on any Trek show.
I have tried very hard to find a way to report this fake but with no luck. It seems Imdb is something
that anyone can submit things to. That makes it unreliable as a source.
Looking at the pictures of the person, it’s quite clear this person is transgender and is seeking attention via
the most pathetic of ways.
If you look at the names of all the characters this person has ‘played’, you can see the trend in making
a pun with the names, using variations of her ‘actor name’….

etc… etc… etc...

If anyone here knows of a way to report this person, please do so.

Memory Alpha reported today that Stephanie Niznik passed away suddenly on June 23rd, 2019, age of 52. She played Ensign Kell Perim in ST Insurrection and a wraith in ST: Enterprise episode 'Rogue Planet'.

Jeremy Kemp passed away July 19th. He played Robert Picard in TNG's episode 'Family. He was 84.

Brad Blaisdell passed away Dec. 26th, 2018, age of 69. He played 'Yint' in the Deep Space Nine episode 'Honor Among Thieves'.

Aron Eisenberg passed away today. He was 50. He played Nog on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Wow! Very sad. Young guy. I knew he had healthy problems but still.

If I am not mistaken, Aron is the first actor to have appeared in seven season of a Trek series to have passed away.

There's no official word on cause of death, but he's had kidney problems his whole life and had a transplant a couple years back.

That is the worst news of the week. Yes, I'd not be surprised if it was his kidney problems. Great actor, one of the most memorable characters in the franchise.
