Star Trek passings

It's being reported that Rene Auberjonois (Odo from DS9) has passed away.

☹️ Rene was one of the first Trek actors I met when I started collecting autographs. I gave him the wrong date when he signed and he said that's ok, he wouldn't tell anyone and we'd just pretend he signed it the day before. Goodbye ☹️

You realize that was a sexual assault, right?

I don’t think that’s the kind of thing to envy.

I think he's referring to the actor being allowed to backslap Grace Lee Whitney (he also did the same to Bill Shatner). We don't know if he made contact with either actor, as all three instances (the two with Walker and the scene with Garland Thompson and John Bellah that inspired Charlie) were shot away from the swat and with a noticeable sound effect added.

Yeah, the more accomplished actors at the beginning of TNG are all hitting life expectancy, as well as the youngest of the TOS actors, so expect to see more and more Berman-era performers as time goes on now. Statistically, the lull caused by the 18 years of no major Star Trek TV production is ending, and it's just going to increase from here. That, and increased reporting and recording of this type of information.

Wikipedia has announced that Marj Dusay passed away this month, age of 83. She played 'Kara' in the TOS episode 'Spocks' Brain'.

I used to see him in so many tv shows. I don't even recall his role in TOS. Will have to check him out now.

Reported in Memory Alpha that Dyanne Thorne passed away Jan. 28th, 2020, age of 83. She played the 1st Iotian girl in the TOS episode 'A Piece of the Action'.

Wow sadly the pace has been picking up for original series actors in the last few months. But they were all part of history and I hope they got some satisfaction from that

Grant, it's now reported that Kevin Conway, aka: Kahless the Unforgettable, passed away on Wednesday, age of 77 due to heart attack.

Wow. It doesn't seem to stop.
He had a wonderful unique voice and he was the control voice of the new outer limits for years.
