So I take it CBS never sued when BBC opened their Doctor Who show, conveniently right after Enterprise ended, with a Time War?Even the trailers/promos called it a time war if I remember correctly.
Hang on there now. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but it did turn hot. The first two episodes of season 4 served to wrap up the TCW arc (very poorly) by having it become a full blown war. Remember Daniels was all messed up and said that the war was no longer a cold one. Then Daniels comes back at the end to tell Archer the war is coming to an end.

Somebody ask Russel T Davis, I remember in a commentary for The last of the Time Lords he said he stole the one year later jump idea from Battlestar Galactica but wasn't worried about anyone noticing because nobody was watching BSG at that time. Maybe he thought the same with Enterprise. So I take it CBS never sued when BBC opened their Doctor Who show, conveniently right after Enterprise ended, with a Time War?![]()
The Federation must have accidentally destroyed stun settings along with the great time travel destruction. The disintegration effect looked similar to when Seven killed Bejeweled
Given how crap guns were in VOY (especially the timeship ones) I can see someone overcorrecting. The Federation must have accidentally destroyed stun settings along with the great time travel destruction.
Despite all the hype about the Federation not needing money, the dilithium barons obviously had a monopoly between the 22nd and 31st century, and swept all other power sources under the rug. Maybe this is supposed to be an analogy to our real world dependence on oil despite other tech available. And if the self destruction of Dilithium was what caused the burn, wouldn't ships that use singularity drives, for example the Romulans, be the dominating force in the galaxy?

Lorca?- FINALLY a reference to the Temporal Cold War.... Now if we ever get to find out who 'future guy' was even better, but for now I'm good!
Given when they were looking for Discovery at the station, you'd think they would have tried contacting the to unidentified Federation starships that were in range.
Better show.Lorca?
You try shooting while running and being accurate. Its not like they were firing LMGs and had the benefit of flooding the field with bullets.
good start although the reality is that states die, it is as if we are now trying to recreate the Roman Empire or the Austo-Hungarian Empire or USSR or any other state that no longer exists I don't like fanaticism and Burnham's nationalism by the federation was seen as fanaticism
Given that Starfleet isn't a totally military outfit it makes sense that some weapon designs would be regarded as unnecessary. Recall that much of Starfleet's tech for a while was bigger means better. The Defiant was the one exception to the rule.Ah: a failure of imagination or a arms treaty there. From a tactical perspective, I would much rather have a rapid fire phaser to pepper an area with 500 angles/beams per minute (even if weaker) than the 6 shots per minute star trek weapons are good for shooting.
