Seriously, who voted 1? I mean, really? A 1? I can see not liking it, and it not being your thing, but a 1? Seriously that’s pathetic. Shitting on a show others like doesn’t give your life more meaning.
That's just a simple pre-destination-paradoxon. She knew whom to pick up, because these people were already helping her.
I wouldn't hold this one against DIS - these problems appear in all time travel stories.

I believe she says "warriors of Kaminar" - so I assumed there were Ba'ul with her.Siranna says something like "Kelpien warriors, prepare for battle".
Why did we get Jet Reno having a time vision of the torpedo? Nothing came of that either.

About the Borg in the remote future, either the whole galaxy will be Borg or they'll have gone extinct. I can't imagine a peaceful cohabitation between the Borg and... anyone else.
I think Discovery should leave the Borg alone and let the "TNG" Series deal with them. Whether it's the Picard Series or something else. That's where I think it makes the most sense to have stories about the Borg. We'll now have three types of Treks: the TOS Family of Series, the TNG Family of Series, and the Disco Family of Series. I think Alex Kurtzman wants to set it up so that one set of shows doesn't have to worry about what the other two sets are doing.
There are some novels out there, from what I understand, that address how the Borg are dealt with. Maybe they'll do something along those lines eventually. I just prefer that it not be in DSC S3.
It was also a bit strange that they said the Time Crystal would burn out after taking Discovery to the future but then Michael happily did 5 jumps around town before she took discovery on the 6th. That was risky. And I still think the 7th signal jump was a huge waste just to say what's up to Spock.
Says who?
Its the 2nd time in DISC the Admiral is the redshirt, the 1st in The Battle of the Binary stars, said Admiral died of stupidity, this time said Admiral dies from..oops the same thing! My problem was, shut the door beam her ass out. Transporter worked stil to pull Spock out of the shuttle, Save the Admirals ass sacrifice a Redshirt. They are designe to die anyway
So that's why TOS filled the positions with any random asshole.
Or...she couldn't drop the door, and they beam her out?Watched it again and I'm still happy with a mark of eight.
Same things that bothered me on first viewing still bother me, but overall I firmly believe it was a great season finale.
As a small aside, an extra thing that irks me a bit, attaining to the blast door.
If Cornwell had to work the door from inside manually to save Pike / The Ship, then why wait till less than 30 seconds on the clock ?
Why, for instance, couldn't someone have manually worked the door earlier, but have something to jam the door so as not to allow it to fall completely ?
More time on the clock, and once the door descends, and jams, the person who manually worked the door could have did an Indiana Jones and slid under the door before kicking away the thing they had used to jam it.
Door comes down, device then explodes, door does its work, no death of the Admiral, or anyone else in the room.
Or...she couldn't drop the door, and they beam her out?

point to point, but could they have beamed her to a transporter pad?Discovery is the only ship with internal beaming ability, used only by Lorca, never after they found him out. It was probably extremely dangerous and something he had added with his influence on the ships construction.
There's no reason to believe any other ship could do it, and not without setting off the torpedo earlier.

Not true...go rewatch TOS S3 - "The Day of the Dove" (Spock specifically states it's not impossible, just that it's rarely been tried because it IS dangerous - however he's talking beaming from the transporter chamber to another point in the ship; NOT the reverse - which should be easier...beaming someone inside the ship INTO the Transporter chamber.Discovery is the only ship with internal beaming ability, used only by Lorca, never after they found him out.
