Gave it a six
So looked forward to it all week and was so underwhelmed
The Funeral scene was nauseatingly over the top, the song ridiculous
Paraphrasing, "Its you Michael" ie you're the Angel (of course she is, she's the singular most important living entity, along with her brother, in the whole multiverse)
Only, she erm, wasn't
Big reveal was a let down, "Mom" indeed
Spock's whole demeanour and attitude has changed, a full reverse, he's Burnhams bosom buddy now, after being a CAUC to her last week.
Enjoyed the Emperor, Tilly, Culber and Stamets interplay, it was a welcome relief.
Tyler is just a big cry baby, why is he still hanging around ? He never seems to do anything.
Now he and Michael have reconciled, everybody loves her this week, even Georgiou.
They love her so much, that in a matter of days after losing Airiam, they are prepared to sacrifice her life in the hope that the Angel shows up to save her.
In a storm of technobabble that La Forge or Crusher would have been proud of, they set a trap for the Angel, who's so far advanced in time and technology thingies that she is daft enough to fall for it.
I take it that the rogue AI in Control is still latent in the Section 31 ship, and now probably ensconced in Leland, if he's not dead that is ?
I have enjoyed Season 2 pretty much every week, but have deliberately not gone overboard with the marking, but tonight's was only an average episode, a bit of a meh.
I thought there were good parts, but a lot of bad parts, sorry.
Crash helmet on for incoming.
