Also, they’re lucky their ships don’t have the yellow markings anymore.

Mirror Hoshi was in her twenties in the ENT episodes so unless she lived into her 120s I doubt she'd still be alive at this point in history. An absolute ruler of a tyrannical regime where backstabbing and coups are commonplace lasting a century on her throne? Doubtful to say the least. Whomever the Emperor is in 2257 it's not Hoshi Sato.

But wouldn't it be interesting IF Phillipa Georgiou was a descendant of 'Ho'-Shi Sato - and the Emperess in this MU?

Given S1 had a $8 million per episode price tag, I doubt that Season 2 was 'automatic' (any more that Season 2 of TNG was 'automatic' - it wasn't they had a plan to tack TNG S1 to the TOS syndication package ii TNG bombed.)

The FACT is ST: D Season 1 did well enough (and brought in enough subscriptions to CBSAA and Netflix) that CBS decidied it should get a second season.

Well...I have been wacthiching Star trek since 1969 (at age 6) -- plus any other space based sci fi I could catch (IE all the Irwin Allen shows, Space Battleship Yamato, BSG (1978), etc.) - so, um yeah - what's your point again??

The franchise replaced Miles O'Brien with a version of himself from several hours into his own future, and exact duplicates of Harry Kim and Naomi Wildman created by a spatial scission replaced the "original" Harry and Naomi when they were both killed. Anything's possible.

10 from me. I've always loved the MU, so this is a blast for me.

Looks like the theory about Tyler is seemingly coming true. Will be interesting to see if the dynamic between him and Burnham is magnified to an extreme degree given the setting. I'm also curious if any Mirror ENT characters pop up in the future as a result of this.

This Star Trek comes from the people who created such things as Red Matter and Time Crystals. You honestly don’t think they wouldn’t come up with a life elixir that prolongs life?
Plus someone earlier suggested they do the Emperor approach and have be a clone.
