Did anyone else think they saw the back of a Bolian's head in the preview of the next episode?

This episode was more like it. The mirror universe is one of my favourite parts of Star Trek. Although i dont like STD much (its about where Enterprise is in my opinion, bad series with a handful of good episodes) i enjoy how this episode added to the Terran Empire lore. I am looking forward to part 2 of this episode, keen to see what happened to the proper ISS Discovery and her crew back in the "prime" universe. Weird to see the USS Defiant is about 130 years old. I see the SJW influence in having the females dress the same as the males and have all the females in charge (yawn). 9/10.

Idris Elba's Krall for Emperor!

Thats not how Terran woman dress in Enterprise or TOS. Im sorry canon is such a drag...
That's how the people we've seen dressed. I mean, I know here in the real world there are only 3 outfits that everybody on Earth wears but someday I hope to see a future where people can have more diverse outfits! Wouldn't that be something!

Also canon is dumb.

They could have made these new Terran outfits look anyway they wanted on STD. To have them remove the sexy factor is telling. Boring 2018 political correctness.

Demanding that all the women in DSC wear short skirts because it turns you on is pretty gross, dude. Grow up.

I didnt say it turned me on its just all other Star Trek series portrayed Terran women one way and this canon ignoring series depicted them differently for no other reason that political correctness. If another reason exists, please enlighten me...

It was a fun episode. I was surprised at how Culber was dispatched without fanfare, but I'm sure that'll be a huge deal in an episode or two. Also, Culber was terminally stupid to confront Tyler alone once he'd determined he wasn't who he thought he was.

Captain Killy was a cute turn. I loved the mirror badges featuring the upseide-down Starfleet delta (are they on sale yet?)

The plan is to get to the Defiant (from "Tholian Web"/"In a Mirror, Darkly") as a means to get themselves home? That's a lot more continuity porn than I expected. I guess we can expect Tholians and weird interphase space soon-ish?

I am surprised you made the jump from TOS where only human males ran Starfleet to ST movies and the STTNG era where shock horror they showed a female captain with dark skin and had alien admirals in charge!!!!!! Political correctness gone insane!
Don't read any ST novels or the parts where TOS Uhura, the non threatening, mini skirt wearing comm officer, becomes an Admiral, that would give you wind!
