A 9 for me. Super action packed, edge of my seat stuff. No idea where this is going and I like that.
And still totally think Ash is Voq, doesn't know it.

 

Where's that established? Currently, the Memory Alpha and the Memory Beta pages don't give an age for Will Decker.

 

Yeah probably just thrown in there for fun. Probably a different cadet with the last name Decker than the Deckers we know. I’m not convinced that Discovery will actually ever make it back from their journey through parallel universes so having Will Decker aboard would obviously negate that

 

Just watch an episode of "How It's Made" on the Science channel. Should be pretty close.

 

You can’t always rely on a actors age for a character

 

I was close. I picked the wrong random, highly made-up alien creature to joke about.

 

He didn't say "Decker," he said "Detmer."

 

^ Detmer is a lieutenant...

 

Lorca overrode the final jump

 

Lorca said Detmer several times (she's the helm, I think). Someone over the comm asked for "Cadet Decker" to report in one brief scene.

I'm currently looking for a timestamp to confirm.

 

Subtitles confirm that it was Decker.

 

Captions show "Decker" but they've been wrong before. Will have to check when I re-watch it.

 

So this is the end of Kol?

I have to say those sensors they planted on the Klingon ship were too big. I would have expected something small and not easily detectable, but I guess it didn't matter at the end.

Well this isn’t the 24th century, they haven’t miniaturized it yet

 

I'm glad Detmer is getting a few speaking lines. I think Airiam even spoke once.

 

To advance the plot by causing a cliff hanger to end the mid season on.

 

I told my wife the same thing when we were watching. You could almost hear him saying "This is for the Buran..." in his head. Absolutely brilliant work by the writers and Isaacs. What an awesome scene!

 

Also noting that the standard ###-mark-### format's been ignored or forgotten. Nav targeting usually falls within ranges of 000 to 359, right?

 

I wonder if his override caused a malfunction or if it was suppose to do that.
