I'm intrigued. I'm curious if they're going to address why she doesn't look like a regular Sea Devil. I'm assuming the real world reason is because they wanted her to look attractive, but I agree with @Rich Watson that it would been more interesting if she looked like a regular Sea Devil.

She's a bit fishy.

Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed that she doesn't look more like a Sea Devil, which softens the edges of the forbidden love aspect. Also weird how most of the shots of her were the same angle and composition.

I'm still curious about this series but I don't think the teaser did a good job of selling it. Plus...no sign of Gugu Mbatha-Raw!

Based on the trailer it looks like they're going for political thriller/military drama meets sci-fi adventure.
