IIRC, whilst it stated a lifespan over 800 years was unusual, it wasnt unheard of. It didn't mention an upper limit.

Disco S5 implies the Bix symbiont is the only one still around that was alive during the Dominion War.

All of TNG showed up in PIC (Except Yar)
DS9. We haven't seen either Dax or either Sisko
VOY No Kes, Neelix or Torres.
ENT We seen T'Pol (Well, a T'Pol) So the rest of the cast are possibilities.

Then there are all the supporting and guest characters. I ain't gonna list all of them!

Yar: No, I feel that story got resolved, also it would be confusing with Becy Lynch;s character also called Ya.
Pulaski? Diana Muldaur is 86, and hasn't acted except one thing in 2022
Dax - possible and easy. In universe, trill has just returned to the Federation. If historic, then really only Ezri could do it, it would be too difficult to write something for Jadzia.
Sisko - I doubt it, if he didn't appear in 1.5
Kes - Actress is not in a good place and not sure how they could make it fit. Neelix - again, not sure how that could fit if he's still in the DQ. Torres - maybe. In any event, it would almost certainly be via the Doctor.
Enterprise - it could be any of them

Recurring characters?
What about recurring actors?

Or is it a species we haven't seen for a while - Horta, Vorta, Xindi, Tribble (I know we;ve had odd references in Disco).

Someone from ENT would be most welcome. In Kurtzman era, we've only seen T'Pol, and in the non canon short , Trip .

Would be phenomenal if we got an Archer appearance, somehow. This is Trek after all. Anything can happen.

a holo video of President Archer would be amazing. We will probably never get that United series , but having him appear in SFA (or any new project) would be great

Completely left field, but the first thought that popped into my head when I first heard about this news the other day was Denise Crosby...but as Sela.

That's probably a lynching offense since I know most people hate the character. Furthermore, Sela doesn't make any sense in this context.

But it was the first thought that came to mind.

Technically, we only saw an image of O'Brien but Colm Meaney himself didn't return. I would love to see O'Brien somehow pull a Scotty (but not in a transporter buff). Would be a great way to continue the Torture Miles legacy.
