The very fact that you repeatedly wish death upon characters (and this isn't the first time you've done that in general) is pretty sad state of affairs. But whatever. Keep on ranting if it helps you get through the day.
The bit with the cyberman breaking through the tardis door. Liked that bit best.
I don't think that's a Cybe - it's one of those aliens with the star-shaped heads from elsewhere in the trailer, from what I see.The bit with the cyberman breaking through the tardis door. Liked that bit best.
I'm not sure it is a Cyberman. It looks more like the dark-skinned alien we see around the 15 second mark (and possibly at 4-5 seconds too?).
The "nothing can get into the TARDIS!" rule being breached would be a bit wasted on the Cybes - I'm thinking that's part of the new threat that's coming after the Doctor.
That alien looks a BIT like a Racnoss, which might make sense of how they could get into the TARDIS given their ability to manipulate artron energy. They'd also have a strong motive for revenge on the Doctor...
I think you’re right. I watched it huddled around a phone screen and I need new glasses.I don't think that's a Cybe - it's one of those aliens with the star-shaped heads from elsewhere in the trailer, from what I see.
So the "news" on Talking Dead just turned out to be them showing the trailer. I guess it was foolish to expect any kind of real news about Doctor Who on the after show for The Walking Dead, but it still felt like a letdown all the same.Talking Dead, the after show for The Walking Dead which discusses the episodes of Walking Dead immediately after they air with interviews with the actors, producers and celebrity fans of the show is promising news related to Doctor Who in their November 24th episode:

Considering the trailer says they're in Paris in 1943, I suspect that episode will in fact have something to do with the French resistance against Nazi occupation.Hopefully even the BBC would restrain Chibnail if he tried that bullshit with some of the really horrible WW2 events, but they seem to mostly let him do whatever shit he wants, only forcing him to add actual Doctor Who aliens from time to time. Based on Rosa last year, The Doctor standing by and watching some real life nazi atrocity unfold (after spending 40 minutes of the episode pretending that there was a Doctor Who plot around it) is a real possibility.
Weird that they made a big deal out of it for that show. Why Doctor Who as oppose to...well, any other show?So the "news" on Talking Dead just turned out to be them showing the trailer. Honestly, that I don't get. There's the aforementioned thing about BBC America and AMC having the same parent company, but then they've never plugged anything else from BBC America (or indeed any non-AMC show) on Talking Dead before. So, who knows. I guess it's nice Doctor Who is getting some exposure, so at least there's that.Weird that they made a big deal out of it for that show. That was my thought.Other than the fact that Chris Hardwick is a Whovian, I got nothing. But then, maybe that's the whole story.
Corporate synergy, and nothing more, IMO. Doctor Who is arguably the biggest show on BBC America. Despite the BBC having the smallest possible majority ownership in BBC America, the New York-based & run network is pretty much "AMC 2" in all but name. In a real sense, Doctor Who has been an American co-production for awhile now. The more attention Doctor Who gets outside of BBC America in the US, the better for all involved.Weird that they made a big deal out of it for that show. Incidentally weren't there rumours of a two-part premiere, with part 1 on January 1 and part 2 on January 4?
