Aunty Beeb making him put his nose to the grindstone after he had a GapYah straight out the gate. Not letting him fill his contracted years up with tea breaks.
Who gives a crap about a cop show or sex and the city? Also, it feels like approximately 80% of British actors were on Game of Thrones and/or Downton Abby, so that doesn't count. As for Sherlock, unless it was Cumberbatch or Freeman it doesn't really count.
So basically, its just Alan Cumming. He was fine, probably the best actor on the show the entire season including the main cast, but his episode was written terribly (like literally every episode that season), so he was completely wasted.
We are somewhat deep into late JNT era stunt casting now aren’t we.
Series 13 will likely come out at 2022, right?
I guess we shouldn't be surprised if that's how it goes. Though I'll hold out hope we might get it by fall 2021.
I stopped hoping. And I'm not gonna mince words, once again, as this genuinely, absolutely and definitively sucks, and that we had a whole year without any Doctor Who is essentially stupid.
The broken season pattern has really drained my interest of the show(Not to mention Series 11 was 90% forgettable)

Its senseless. At least give us some specials inbetween. Maybe animated episodes at least?
