Series 12 News & Spoilers

So it isn't reverting back to Saturdays then?

Nope. Not that it really matters what night it's on.

I just wish the UK would follow in the footsteps of the US networks and say they're not going to reveal overnight ratings anymore and just provide the 28 day consolidated total instead.

I'd lose my mind if, in the opening credits, there's "Special Guest Star Avery Brooks as Dr Noah" or "Special Guest Star Alexander Siddig as Special Agent Julian Bashir." Not happening, but a guy can dream. :)
That. Would. Be. AMAZING.

If they want the full Bond effect, they should do a special credits sequence featuring a (tastefully silhouetted) naked Bradley Walsh dancing while doing something suggestive with a Sonic Screwdriver...

Even Davros wouldn't carry out such an evil idea :)

Hooray! Something to look forward to on New Year's Day.

An ad on the ABC confirmed Thursday 2nd forAus. I wonder if it will be available online in the morning, like recent years.

Confirmed as a 65 minute (give or take a few) opening episode since it's timeslot is 6.55-8.00 on BBC 1.

So apparently "Spyfall" is being treated as one episode in two halves and there are still another nine episodes to follow it in the series, not including the already shot 2020 Christmas Special. Which is a nice surprise, if correct.

That clip was kind of interesting, and Stephen fry seems like he'll be a good guest actor for the show, but based on last season I can't see this being anything more then a snorefest with wasted potential, which is the best Chibnail (or the mediocre to bad writers he likes to hire) are capable of.

Still, at least its not taking a serious historical event and taking a giant dump on it by adding The Doctor, so its at least going to be better then two episodes from last season.

So, in other words, eleven episodes, plus the Christmas 2020 special makes 12. So, we're almost up to the length of a Capaldi season.

Three extra months between series premiere, how is that a whole year? There wasn't enough time to fit production of another series in.
