Nope. Not that it really matters what night it's on.

I just wish the UK would follow in the footsteps of the US networks and say they're not going to reveal overnight ratings anymore and just provide the 28 day consolidated total instead.

And they got it 50% right. It's back on New Year's Day with episodes following on Sundays, so the 5th.

Well they said early 2020, can't get much earlier than day 1.

It was already looking that way from the trailer but calling it "Spyfall" does kind of confirm they're going full-on Bond for the opener.

I'd lose my mind if, in the opening credits, there's "Special Guest Star Avery Brooks as Dr Noah" or "Special Guest Star Alexander Siddig as Special Agent Julian Bashir." Not happening, but a guy can dream.

So apparently "Spyfall" is being treated as one episode in two halves and there are still another nine episodes to follow it in the series, not including the already shot 2020 Christmas Special. Which is a nice surprise, if correct.

That clip was kind of interesting, and Stephen fry seems like he'll be a good guest actor for the show, but based on last season I can't see this being anything more then a snorefest with wasted potential, which is the best Chibnail (or the mediocre to bad writers he likes to hire) are capable of.

Still, at least its not taking a serious historical event and taking a giant dump on it by adding The Doctor, so its at least going to be better then two episodes from last season.

So, in other words, eleven episodes, plus the Christmas 2020 special makes 12. So, we're almost up to the length of a Capaldi season.
