Promotional material is bullshit. I saw it for years in retail and its a hollow mockery to me. People spend millions on stupid shit all the time.Which I think is totally fair. Promotion though is something entities pays millions for. Like it or not, it is considered important to a degree. Not just in Hollywood. People for decades have decided whether to buy or borrow a book based solely on the description on the back cover. And I will still watch it regardless. Whether its the Same old true formula or something different, doesn't matter to me . My feedback to this point has nothing to do with it being "different ". It's just honest feedback.
My feedback on promotional material will ultimately do nothing on my opinion of the final product.
