I know for a fact that the production title for Section31 is Windcleaver, just like Green Harvest is for Discovery.

Are these production codenames so that people don't automatically know it's Star Trek, like how they used Blue Harvest for ROTJ to hide the fact it's Star Wars? Or the first season of Doctor Who's revival was Torchwood?

There's no source on that page, or an official announcement by CBS, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt.

Is this the correct megathread?/

This I think has been the main discussion thread since 2020.

I would be surprised if any actual work has been done on this show in the past few years. Apart from some PR every few months or so insisting that "it's still in development" it just seems they refuse to admit it will never happen. They probably made a mistake in announcing it when they did before the audience clearly preferred Pike/Spock/The Enterprise over Georgiou/S31 that Discovery season and leading to Strange New Worlds getting made instead.

Also it's not like Yeoh is short of work or anything.

I believe the delay really isn't. It is a planned pause while other story elements become aligned, possibly all across the timeline.

We've seen some foreshadowing but not everything they want to do before a big S31 revelation in its own time.

Alex Kurtzman is not JMS. He's nowhere NEAR that detailed.

Babylon 5 was SO intricately plotted, if an actor wanted to change a line, the producers had to see how it would affect the script two seasons ahead!
