It's almost like there's some stranger's hand influencing it.
One might even say "great joy, and gratitude". I wouldn't say that, but ya know.Somehow, don't ask me how, I just know Robert Meyer Burnett is absolutely losing his mind. And honestly? That brings me joy. Bring on the Muppets!
I love how they chose to rile the "fans" with this stuff.
Wrong again, Clyde.Perhaps the greatest message Star Trek has to teach is that it's hilarious to ruin a TV franchise in order to own the fans.

The Buffyverse did not create musicals or puppet episodes, plenty of other shows have done both concepts, both before and after Buffy and Angel did their respective episodes.
This will be offtopic a bit, but love your books, Greg.As ever, I feel obliged to point out that XENA did the musical thing ("The Bitter Suite") before BUFFY, yet somehow BUFFY always gets cited as kicking off the trend.
Heck, XENA did two musical episodes, although the second one ("Lyre, Lyre, Pants on Fire") wasn't as good as the first one.
More like.... it's hilarious to watch a bunch of gatekeeping assholes with no sense of fun or imagination completely melt down because Star Trek isn't doing what they think it should be doing.Perhaps the greatest message Star Trek has to teach is that it's hilarious to ruin a TV franchise in order to own the fans.
Trying new things to keep a career alive isn't even a new concept. It's just staggering how frightened of change fans can be.This is not ruining the franchise. It’s taking a chance. Something the franchise is in dire need of. You need not like the choice to see that to be true. The idea of following the same formula time again is not going to bring in new viewers. The existing audience isn’t getting any younger.
If someone likes the Ferengi episodes, they can hardly be faulted for wanting more of them. You guys are like people wishing for Deep Space Nine to have more Ferengi episodes just so you can laugh when viewers have to sit through them.

Four year-old you wouldn't love puppets? That's so sad.Star Trek was always fun for me without having to do this kinda thing. That's why 4 year old me fell in love with the original series.

If loving "Little Green Men" and "House of Quark" is wrong, I don't want to be right.![]()
