Spoilers Season 3 wild speculation

Vadic is Picard's daughter.

I wouldn’t actually rule this out, there were early casting call leaks for a son for Picard, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the gender changed before filming began. There were some similar changes to the Season 1 cast from the original leaked cast description to what we ended up with.

Could lots of Picard’s enemies from the past be banding together against him and his ex Enteprise D crew mates? Possibly led by Vadic, or she could just be the ‘face’ of an even more sinister villain from Picard’s past lurking in the shadows….

As much as they love misdirection, I can’t see Amanda Plummer being highly touted and then be a minor player.

It's Picard: Endgame.

Also, maybe we'll finally get our Star Trek / Star Wars crossover with Mace Windu saving the day.

"We gonna be like Fonzie, Vadic!"

I don’t think that they would base the series on Voyager's finale ‘Endgame’, but I could be wrong.

I have never seen Star Wars so have no idea what you are talking about. But if it makes other fans happy… then why not?:D

Because it would be stupid. And I say this as someone who likes Star Wars and Star Trek, but a crossover is not something I see as a good idea in a show. Fan art, fan fiction and fan films? Sure, that's what those things are built on.

Well maybe JJ Abrams can do a descent crossover, Even if it is a crossover ‘lite’? I hear that he is a fan of both franchises and has also worked on them both in various capacities. Perhaps the Star Wars Universe is the distant future of the Star Trek Universe, rebuilt after ‘the burn’? Or perhaps rebuilt *even more* distantly in the future after another catastrophic event that makes the galaxy forget it’s history even more?

Again, fan fiction at best. And I'll curb my other remarks so as to not appear too cynical.

I sure hope all y'alls are not taking my cross-over comment seriously, but do in fact recognize a not-so-subtle reference to Pulp Fiction.

They have done crossovers in the comic books. Of course they could do anything. Cause Star Trek in books, comic books and fan films are not consider Star Trek canon.

Personally I got a bit of a Son'a vibe from the exterior of the Shrike... Between that, the hatred for both the Federation and Picard et.al, and then Vadic's somewhat scenery chewing nature, I'm going with Ahdar Ru'afo's daughter :P

(I am mostly joking... though tbh I doubt what they've actually come up with will be much better lol)
Because that nebula the ship emerges from looks like the Briar Patch ;)
Yeah I think they made it pretty clear that Q "ascended" to his next level of existence. I doubt we'll ever see him again.
He didn't seem to wanna die, so... was he poisoned by the continuum? :D Calling it now, Vadic is the Q queen!

SW is long ago, in a galaxy far away.

I suspect that was simply his fear of the unknown. When you’re basically omnipotent in a universe that you’ve existed in for eons, the prospect of stepping into what humans would consider a kind of death might invoke a human-like reaction akin to fear and apprehension. Perhaps a hold-over from when the Continuum made him mortal and he’s held onto that fear while approaching a similar state. In any case. I found that departing scene between Q and Picard to be quite touching and well written. It was a high point in an otherwise midland season, IMO.

As for Vadic, I have no freakin’ clue… :)

Vadic is really Dr. Pulaski. After falling down an empty turbolift shaft, years of agonizing surgeries have driven her mad.

For the benefit of everyone outside the U.S. ...

Not sure if you are joking or not, but I’m pretty certain it was a reference to Avengers: Endgame, not Voyager’s finale.

Never seen Avengers.

Picard could deal with the aftermath of Voyager’s ‘Endgame’ though? If not on a galactic level after Janeway’s decimation of the the Borg then on a basic character level, allowing us to find out what has happened to some of the characters we once knew and loved.

“Please state the nature of the medical emergency…” :D

I hope there’ll be some Jean-Luc/Beverly fan service rather than mostly ignoring that these characters have a thing for each other, like everything post-AGT did.
