Speaking of little "siblings...Maura gave up her kidney months ago, but hasn't heard thanks "one" since then, much less been the recipient of an expensive fruit basket. :alienblush:

So naturally Maura turns into a kidney stalker, and discovers her half sister "might" be half human. :rolleyes:

Only "might" be, since she gave Maura an expensive if inappropriate gift which MIGHT have said "I love you Sis" or MIGHT have said, "You sprang from the loins of a murdering mobster and I didn't". :cardie:

Speaking of murdering mobsters, Paddy's trial is set to begin. :devil:

Speaking of missing boyfriends... Angela is back with the Lieutenant. :alienblush:

Speaking of ex lovers, Casey is back.... :drool: and then he's gone again.

Speaking of best friends... Rizzoli & Isles are still that . :beer:

Overall, an enjoyable romp, as long as I don't look too closely at the distaff Cain/Able crime of the week story. ;)

Because TPTB don't want to deal with a house husband, especially after dissing the state senator's spouse last night? :rolleyes:

More likely Casey will discover that he loves rehabbing post war vets so much that the Secretary of the Army has him reasigned to head the agency in Washington. :klingon:

Hasn't Jane lost 2 guys that way so far? :confused:

I've read some spoilers for the season so far, none of which include Casey, all of which seem pretty intriguing. :techman:

I love seeing isles in her bra but i would've loved more for a panny shot as well :)

So, if Jane threatened you while in jail for laying a hand on Maura, would that stop you? ;)

I'm surprised Jane didn't insist on Maura being placed in isolation/protective custody. (Well of course then there wouldn't be the looming physical danger hanging over Maura's head. :rolleyes: "Mr Ford, Mr Ford... in StageCoach, why didn't the Indians simply SHOOT the horses?" ... "Cuz then there wouldn't have been a movie." :devil: )

I thought for sure that was going to be a 2 parter, but nope. With 5 minutes left on the clock they wrapped up the entire thing from virtually nothing.:rolleyes:

Well, not exactly "nothing".

Once Maura said the bone was a fetal clavicle, and the murderer knew he could be identified that way, it was obvious that the murderer had to be in a DNA database. That was when I realized the "golfer" had done it. He and his wife were touting the bone marrow database at the top of the show.

All Jane and her crew needed to do, once the database id'ed him, was to scour the internet for photos that linked him to that club the bouncer worked at.

I did like the fact that they brought up Paddy's impending trial.

It was rushed story telling. They did all of that in only 5 minutes of screen time.

Loved last night's ep, although I missed Angela. I suppose given al the time devoted to the Rizzoli-Isles dynamic and the triangle of terror that is Paddy-Hope-Maura, there would not have been enough time to shoehorn Angela into a hurt/comfort scene with Cavanaugh.

Good show tonight, although I think its time Detectives Frost and younger Rizzoli get taken to the woodshed for their objectification of the female rookie.

I'm liking this season so far, overall... but:

  1. The Maura-in-jail got wrapped up a little too fast for my liking. I guess with only 15 episodes per season a two-parter was out of the question.
  2. Having Angela give that video to Cavanaugh -- what, no blowback from that? Yeah, Jane was upset about it but Maura blows it off? Ennnnhhh.
  3. So, is this the end of LIttle Rico, ahem, Patty? Is he going to break out of jail just before his execution? Is the Irish Mob going to go after Hope, or Maura, in retribution? Could be a killer (heh) season finale…
  4. And BTW, where the hell were the Feds supposedly shadowing Maura when she getting the Devil's Dust blown in her face?
  5. More Rizzles! Yes, the hug with Jane and Maura and the kiss on the head was great, but come on! Where's the eye sex? The semi-inappropriate touching? I need my Vicarious Smoochies, dammit!
