Best. Fan film teaser. Ever.
The winnar is you.See and this is why you fail.Well, they finally did it; they killed my fucking Star Trek!
Star Trek isn't yours.
C'mon, I think he was just joking about Carpe Occasio's image post...
I completely disagree. I like the new ship - if it were to be named anything other than Enterprise no one would have a problem with it.
They would say that it looks too much like the Enterprise.
Unless he's specifically given his permission for you to post it here, (which your parenthetical comment indicates is not the case) then I'll have to remove the quoted text. From the Board Rules:There are still people who claim to see no similarities between the NX-01 and the Akira, too.
As for Gabe's thoughts, they're posted at SFM: link
(hopefully he doesn't mind me posting this...)[Text removed, per board policy. Just follow the link, if you wish to read what Gabe said. - M']
The link can stay, since it points to where Gabe posted it himself.Privacy

Obviously, I have a more traditional view of what the Enterprise should look like, at least when I’m not trying to pull an April Fool’s joke with it. I do have to mention, though, that if you look very closely, you may notice that the warp nacelles are nearly identical to the Foolerprise, minus the glowing grills on top. Sometimes you find things you really like in unexpected places, something everyone would do well to keep in mind as they go off to see the new movie.![]()
You maniacs! You blew it up!!!![]()
Damn, who put that together? The damage is well-done.
Best. Fan film teaser. Ever.
What is this from? Is this a fan-film? It's looks damn good if so.

Yeah, it's from the Starship Exeter episode "The Tressaurian Intersection."
We did call it the "Planet Of The Apes reveal."![]()
