Most non-Hollywood content on Netflix and Prime Video has English dubbing. And as far as I know, most Americans watch Amazon and Netflix productions with English dubbing.

I don't. I prefer subtitles. After enduring bad English dubbing of Kung-fu files in the 70s, my preference is subtitles.

I wonder which of these young stars—like Jenna Ortega, Mckenna Grace, and Isabela Merced—we will still be talking about in 20 or 30 years. In particular, I think Jenna Ortega needs to get a better handle on her choice of projects and her personal life.

The worst part is, in my opinion, none of today's young celebrities are as well-known as the movie stars of the 80s and 90s.

The three names I mentioned strike me as somewhat "B-list" actors. Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, the Fanning sisters, and Timothée Chalamet, on the other hand, are names known even to people who aren't interested in film or TV.

Sometimes it strikes me how much more convenient daily life is becoming. It's 10:30 at night and I just realized I only have 5 to 7 days left on two prescriptions. While sitting at home, I signed in with my cell phone, and I can pick up my prescriptions on Monday.

Pretty cool.

Modern technology has made it very easy to be an agoraphobe if you want to be.

It was also done with the Looney Tunes character in Back in Action. I know everybody loves Space Jam, but I was never that fond of it, and ever since I saw it I've much preferred Back in Action. Not sure where I'd put Coyote vs Acme between those two, maybe a little bit ahead of Back in Action.

I think you misread that, he said the new stars are not like the stars from the 80s and 90s.
