It's been more Caricature Trek than anything else so far.Have they met any actual people?
So it was Star Trek? It's been more Caricature Trek than anything else so far.
It's the beats and shouting. It gets you every time.He is corrupting our youth with this rock and roll and suggestive dancing.
So those that have a problem with the scene what would you have wanted in its place? I'm really curious here.
Yeah, but more forced this time. The tone is off somehow for me. It's all over the place, with little coherency. Besides Tilly jogging her way to the captain's chair. They nailed that bit.So it was Star Trek?
Unless it's Smokey Robinson or Tina Turner. Motown rules!I'd like them to show a little creativity. I'm sure they could come up with a unique looking drinking game, since we only need a glimpse of it. I'll even give them the flashing lights, but the use of a contemporary song (anything past the 60s) is the height of arrogance. No one should think their taste in music is so good that people will still be listening to it in 200 years.
More forced??? Didn't think that was possible!Yeah, but more forced this time
It surprised me, too. I guess narrative prolapse is a thing now.More forced??? Didn't think that was possible!![]()
Is she normally shy or something?
Nah.Based on Episode 3, I had her down as borderline autistic.
There is also a scene preview that was put up on EW.com. This is what I expect out of a party too!

Tilly's not autistic, she's just got some occasional anxiety issues which cause her to over-share or act slightly inappropriately sometimes. I have no issues with accepting that Tilly might be more socially confident with alcohol or other substances helping her to chill out and not obsess over how she appears to others.
I agree. In real life i'm quite introverted so it can take me awhile to get going in social situations even with friends. However when I'm drinking I'm a happy drunk and find it very easy to have fun and engage in conversations. I know lots of people who are the same, so tilly appears to be acting pretty normal to me.
