I don't follow professional baseball all that closely, but does Toronto still have a home stadium? If so, have you been there?

They have Rogers Centre, which is used by the Blue Jays (baseball) and Argonauts (CFL football). I haven't been there, but I plan on going next year.

Chainmail!!!

I've been working on this since January, and I finally "finished." I may add some decorative chains and some detachable scale pieces, but I'm done for now. 31,560 rings in three different sizes. It's aluminum so it's lighter than it looks. (12lbs. if it was steel it would be about 35lbs.) Most of the reason it took me six months is because I didn't order all the rings at once, and I had other stuff to do. It probably would have taken me 10 days if I had all the materials and did nothing else.

As for the scales I mentioned, here's some hair clips and ear rings I've made with them:

I wanted to make armor, but I ended up making a bunch of girly shit.

Also, I'm selling some of the smaller stuff I make through a tattoo shop now, so that's something.

That's pretty awesome. What are you going to do with the Chainmail?

All of your work is beautiful, absolutely stunning! The jewelry is especially unique. You are extremely talented!

Damn, Kommander! That is awesome work! I knew you were better than you let on, but this is great!

Great handiwork, Kommander! That chainmail looks a bit like something a Klingon would wear, either TOS or ridged!

You're pretty talented dude!

That's pretty awesome. What are you going to do with the Chainmail?
Thanks.

The shirt I'll use for a lot of things. If I ever manage to get the music thing going (I'm a singer), I'll wear it on stage sometimes. Since this thing is slowly becoming a side business I'll use it for promotional stuff as well. The girly stuff I make is to sell and to impress women, which, it totally does, and I found that to be surprising. However, if something I do impresses women, I'm not going to argue.

Thank you. Although, the flowers I didn't design. My supplier sells kits for them. I did have to figure out for myself how to attach them to hair clips and that took some effort. Also, those things are a pain in the ass to make.

That's what she said.

Thanks.

Thanks, although, I'm a little disappointed with how it turned out. I was going for flashy. Something I could wear to a Renaissance Faire, where a third of the people are also wearing impressive chainmail, and still get attention. It turned out looking a little more plain than I was hoping it would look. Hopefully I can get closer by adding a bit more to it.

I've seen a lot of chainmail in Ren Faire pictures, and yours looks more authentic. Some of the chainmail I've seen has been impressive, but at the same time, woefully impractical. My first thoughts are usually, "in a sword fight, that guy's going to be dead in seconds".
