STEVE HOLT!

I went to the farmers' market today and bought some plants for my bedroom. I enjoyed matching and arranging these succulents today:

Some ferns that remind me of growing up well-forested in Seattle:

And the cutting I made last spring from my large philodendron is really flourishing!

The adorable hat my mother knitted for my nephew-in-progress. On a side note, the Cabbage Patch Kid modeling the hat is the doll I won in a Cabbage Patch Kid look-alike contest way back in 1985, at the age of two. They tried giving me a blonde baby girl but I cried and said I wanted a bald baby boy. They complied due to my chubby-cheeked dimpled adorableness.

That's adorable! That 1985 Cabbage Patch Kid might be worth something, though I don't know if you'd ever consider looking into its value or anything...it might hold tremendous sentimental value to you. But there aren't nearly as many of the original Cabbage Patch dolls floating around as some might think...especially not in what appears to be quite good condition. That hat is really cute, too! I like the eyes on it. :)

Some science museum in Boston. All science museums seem the same to me...

He is in good condition, and I'm not a very sentimental person, especially when it comes to objects. That said, I'd need to be paid a pretty penny to part with Marlin Rudolph.
