I still have my Atari 2600 and all the original cartridges. I haven't plugged it up in a while so I'm not sure if the system still works like it's supposed to, but I made sure to keep my console and games after I grew up. I adore my Xbox 360, but nothing compares to being a kid in the '80s and gaming on the Ataris and Colecovision.
Amazing that Mr Do and Venture could have been as much fun as they were. Are you in New Mexico by any chance? If so, that would explain all the hot-air balloons. NM holds a very large, annual hot-air balloon festival, and I think it's around September or October.
