Shared these in the Artists' thread...thought I'd share them here as well!
I thought it'd be fun to delve into the world of Steampunk, and, as I can't afford to buy any more canvass, I've temporarily left off painting and have done a couple of Steampunk fashion illustrations (prints of which will be up for sale on my Etsy shop shortly #shamelessplug). I had a lot of fun doing them--I think I'll do more!

Thanks, dudes. I had a lot of fun drawing them too. It's a very different experience -- drawing as opposed to painting -- and it's been a long time since I've drawn. I'm going to do more. I'd really like to do a series and sell them as a collection of half a dozen postcards or something like that.

Hopefully, that first pic gives a good idea of just how long this thing was. The train was well over a half mile long.

No. That's a Northern.

It's whistle is sweeeeeeeeeet.

Unfortunately, UP doesn't have a Big Boy in it's steam excursion fleet. Just the Northern and a Challenger. I wish they had one though. That would have been nice.
