I'm not a cat person as well, but my parents have two cats that follow the dog and me when I take him for a walk.Yes, of course, I do take my cat on a walk with the leash..
I used to stop by and feed my friends' cat when they were out of town. They told me I could put his leash on and walk him if I wanted. I thought they were nuts.
Does he follow along with you and accept commands? I'm not much of a cat person, so this is new to me.
It's like they're convinced they're one big dog family or something.
I now own a cat my wife had when she lived alone back in the day. He's the kind of cat that makes you swear up and down you'll never get another one. My dogs enjoy tormenting him almost as much as I do.
I am considered at Star trek Logs as being half betazoid...

I think one of my dogs has alien DNA, she's a total whackjob. The other is super mellow and easy going and friendly. The goofy one is afraid of new toys people give her, yet out of the blue killed a duck along the shore of a pond a month or so ago. She's a Lab. I'm supposed to shoot it before she gets it, right? Not just taking the initiative on her own.

I believe my previous cat was gay. He was male but everytime I brought females home for him, he didn't even smelled them.. used to hang out with dogs or other cat males..
She's harmless and clings to me like velcro. She's so excited to see me when I get home from night class that I have to call my wife 10 minutes before I get home to let her out, so she doesn't pee on me.
She doesn't like most people, but the ones she does love she is over the top unconditionally affectionate.
