Mom never plants sunflowers anymore- the birds always eat the seeds and then drop them all over the place. The sunflowers she gets every year are "volunteers".

There was a pic in the Boston Globe with the tail number, which is not the same as the one below. But, given the region of the country she was flying in, I thought it might be possible.

Very sad. Just glad everyone escaped without injury.

A friend of mine was going to fly wing with that B-17 at an upcoming air show in his YAK 52. He is deeply saddened by the loss of a great flying machine as am I. It is good to know the crew got out safe though!

anything wrong with it? I can't tell. I was going to say cool picture because it hasn't been done, but I decided not to because there could be something wrong with it.

The x-ray was to determine what the bump on the back of my heel is but it didn't show up in the x-ray so I have to go for an ultrasound. It's probably just a cyst from wearing skates so much.

I was going to say - given it's a low resolution image on a message board, the bones in the X-Ray look OK, and I can't see much out of the ordinary in the fleshy part of the heel. But yeah, the plain X-ray, while a decent screening tool for many things such as glass fragments and obvious masses, isn't the most accurate imaging tool for picking up the more subtle subcutaneous lesions.

Indeed it is. Although i'm sure there are several statues in other locations. But there is one in Budapest, opposite to the Vajdahunyad Castle. At least I think its Vajdahunyad, its been quite a while since i've been back home.

Yeah, we didn't go into Parliament, just took pictures from across the river. And I assume you mean your friend lives near the sculptures in Szentendre? That was a nice little town.

You are also correct, the Anonymous statue is outside Vajdahunyad Castle. There was a toy fair going on outside it that day--including guys dressed like Stormtroopers and Boba Fett.
