PICTURE POST!

Today I have something very special for you all. No one outside of my family has seen this item in many years.

This is an apple that I put in this glass jar 26 years ago. It has sat in a closet for all this time, coming out only to be admired every 5 or so years. The jar has never been opened. About 7 years ago the skin was still lightish colored and it was taller, more firm looking. Originally it sat close to the sides of the jar. There is a tiny big of moisture on the bottom of the jar but that's as much as there has ever been.

I still have a box of Batman cereal from 1989 in my bedroom closet. It came with a Batman shaped piggy bank (at least I think it's a piggy bank). It's still in the original wrapper. Think I should try to sell it? I wonder if it's worth anything.

Maybe I'll just have it for breakfast tommorrow.;)

I made these last night:

They will be earrings. Just have to do a little clean-up work on them and add ear wires, then I'll wear them! :D

WANT.

I don't even wear earrings, and I WANT those.

Seriously--if they lapel pins or necklaces, and I would BUY them. Have you ever sold your creations at conventions? I bet you'd make a tidy sum.

^Believe it or not, that's my first ever Who creation. And if I tried to sell them at a convention, I'd probably get a cease and desist letter from the BBC- copyright, ya know. :p Selling friend-to-friend, OTH, I could probably get away with.

These earrings are actually big enough to be a small pendant. Each one is about an inch high and an inch and a half long. I think bigger T.V. blanks are available as well.

Only if they found out.

Cool. A little hot glue, a safety pin and I have a Dr. Who pin.

I wish I could be creative like that. Alas, I am completely artistically disabled. So much so that I could qualify for special parking.

You're killing me!
I would love to have one of those little TVs with something TOS in them (as a pendant). That would just reek of 1960s Kitsch/Chic.
Seriously, though, you ever start selling these, KM, keep me on the short list. Until then, I'll just continue to observe and admire. :D

^I'm planning to do a Trek theme next, then Torchwood. I do sell my stuff when people ask to buy it- I really only charge for cost of materials and shipping.

^PM me when you have an idea of what you want. ;) I'm working on an Eleventh Doctor themed Scrabble tile bracelet right now.

teacake- I have an etsy account (to buy supplies), but I'm still a little shy about selling to people that I totally don't know! I'm still not sure my work is good enough!

I would love a TMP themed pin. Either the poster or the Enterprise from TMP.

:D

But alas I will stick with the hobby I do okay with:

Nice Lego set-up. I could never do that.

Being sick a lot as a child I couldn't do much except hone my LEGO skills.

Being silly with siblings:

Found this from a wedding event few years back. They yellow stuff is turmeric paste, it's this traditional thing. I told my mom she could go nuts doing whatever Indian stuff she wanted and, well, she did.

Taken this past weekend at my sister-in-law's baby shower. So excited for her!.

Feast your eyes:

You will feel better.

And I'd buy the tv as a pendant for a necklace if I could pick the theme.

 Ah, Regretsy! One of my favourite time-killers.

Kira's Mom, your work is definitely good enough to sell on Etsy. I'd sure you'd sell loads, especially as you're willing to do custom orders.
