I love this photo! We used to dig a similar circular path in the back garden during Toronto winters for our Shetland Sheepdog. We nicknamed it Turd Alley and, come springtime, we'd have tufts of super-green grass where the, erm, fertiliser pellets had been deposited all winter.

Dallie used to do the same thing. We'd have a trail going all the way around, and in the spring, the grass would be bright green in one particular oval area.
