I like that. My Dad died on 12/12, nice to see the whole circle of life keeps going.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Did he die 2 days ago, or 12/12 in a previous year?

I lost my dad on Jan 7, 2005. He was born Dec 24th, 1939. December/January is a tough couple of months for my family; we had the 'circle of life' conversation when Grace was born, because we have a reason to celebrate and look forward to this time of year again.

Geez, my father passed on Dec 12, 1997. It was five days after he turned 50, and the first couple weeks of December are always a down time for me. Better than it used to be, I've reached my peace, but a time for looking back and nostaligia. Over a beer, sharp cheese and crackers, I always toast my father on 12-12.

Company Christmas party last Tuesday, me and three of the four other people in my management team:

A guy at work lost his Dad on a 12/12 a couple years back...weird and depressing.

Unfortunately, my Dad loved Irish whiskey. I can't stand the stuff. I've had a number of toasts this week that have made me gag.

Kind of a photographer myself. But I use older cameras. Although my iphone has been used a lot lately. its only good for emergencies, though.

In my living room My daughter and I used to watch first run nuBSG and I just recently bought season 1 so we can do it all over.

Yeah I asked because I didn't know if it was on syfy or something.
Because I am trying to start from the beginning. I thought like stargate it was a waste of my time, but then I watched stargate and I loved it, so I am trying to get into that, but stupid syfy has been lame lately.
